Free, Fun Dairy & Farm Tours Available In-person or Virtual
ZoomDairy is a behind the scenes virtual tour of North Harbor Dairy in Sackets Harbor, NY. See how we care for our herd, what we feed our cows, how we milk them, the technology we use, and everything in between. Adopt and name a calf along the way and receive photos and updates about her throughout the school year. It's live, so you never know what will be happening at the dairy.
ZoomFarm is another free, live, virtual tour of all the different farm animals in their winter homes at Old McDonald's Farm. Learn neat facts about the animals, their special adaptations, and hear some funny stories about their antics on the farm.
Tours are available Monday-Saturday 9am-1pm and are about 45 minutes. Information on the tour can be tailored to the interest/ages of your group.
Tours are hosted by Emma Shirley, the Education Coordinator at Old McDonald's Farm, North Harbor Dairy & SHAEAC. You can choose to do just one tour or both. A special gift is provided for pre-k though 3rd grade classes/families/groups who take a dairy tour.
Come learn about and experience the modern dairy and meet many different farm animals on your tour!
